So after reading over Swain's lore recently, I really hope that the team developing Swain's new lore still incorporate a relationship with LeBlanc. Their relationship was so interesting seeing she posed as a big factor for Swain's rise in his old lore, and I hope the two are still connected after his rework.
I think Swain and LeBlanc are 100% canon and the new lore/VO will definitely contain that. I just hope they approach it in a mature and original way.
On a side note, I kind of want to hear him schooling Vlad on how to be a better mage/Noxian/strategist/person of power etc.
Swain and LeBlanc's intertwined lore was discussed on the /r/SwainMains subreddit recently actually, and both Reav3 and Interlocutioner (narrative writer for Swain's VGU) commented on the thread.

Hey Spyro, I'm not working on Sion but I am the narrative writer on Swain. Per this general discussion, a lot of the Noxian cast may shift a tiny bit as we start to understand more about how Swain really rose to power, and we'll update things the best we can to reflect this!

I think they would definitely still keep the whole 'conspiring for mutual power' part as canon. Her posing as Jarvan IV in Kalamanda is more or less confirmed by the Sion Reborn teaser.
But I am actually more interested in their personal relationship to each other.
It was implied in LeBlanc's League Judgement that she at least, has or had some affection for Swain. Though, Swain was noticeably colder to her in the Sion Reborn dialogue (she even notes they don't see each other as much as before).
Same, it would be so interesting for Swan to refer to her as his advisor or trusted confidant, considering there's such a great relationship possibility between the two, not necessarily a romantic one, but just maybe. I'd also love to see the interactions between him and Cassiopeia and Katarina, considering it's sorta implied he's responsible for the disappearance of their father.
Yeah coincidentally this was confirmed quite recently by Reav3. Although I fail to understand why he needed to grantee such a thing, I personally felt like it was a given.
