True, I don't play Ivern. Hell, I rarely play Jungle in the 1st place.

But I see a product Riot has produced. I have opinions on said product. So naturally I want to say those opinions. This product is a skin, not some gameplay change. I don't have to be a 1,000+ games Ivern main to comment on how a skin looks. I just need a pair of working eyes. I don't have to drive a car for 100,000 miles/kilometers to know the paint job is shit or the windows have cracks.

People are just calling it like they see it.

ROFL. Things to change? How delightfully naive. RIots not going to change (not for the better anyway), have you been paying attention for the past 2 years? That ship sailed a LONG time ago. They don't give a shit about you or me, or making a quality game.

They are out to cash in as hard and fast as possible, regardless of the consequences to game quality or the players. No amount of passionate, well thought out posts on these dead forums that they never pay attention to (other than the lore section and who gives a fart if the game is crap) is going to change their mind in the least. You'd have an easier time convincing a shark to go vegan.

And you can't say every single person at Riot is terrible and doesn't pay attention to the boards. There are a few that come around quite a bit to discuss things with the community and respond to feedback. I Am Carlos, a Rioter on the skins team, even acknowledged the boards in his Dev Diary on skins. They are here and listening to some extent, and they are more likely to respond to people that are being respectful. You really think Carlos would have replied to my inquiry on Jhin's potential legendary skin this year if I was a dick to him?

EDIT: Also, several community-made things, as well as the community in general, have been acknowledged by Riot. Dragon Trainer Heim, Pizza Delivery Sivir, and Meowrick were all community-made skin concepts that were very popular. I believe a community member wrote Vlad's new story, Art Is Life. Riot got Malicious Metal, a very vocal Morde main on the boards and elsewhere, to their HQ so he could play test new Morde and give feedback on him.

Talk to me when they come and apologize for shitty IP to BE transition screwing over all the veteran players that made the game what is today. Talk to me when they acknowledge that snowball is HORRIBLE game design mechanic and NEVER should have been in the game EVER and actually fix it. Talk to me when they acknowledge they completely changed the style of the entire game and said fuck you to most of the playerbase who liked a strategic game and not this one shot clownfiesta streetfighter crap and actually fix it.

I'm willing to bet that people are just mad about the name "dunkmaster". If it were named literally anything else I don't think people would be so angry over this. The skin itself looks really good if you ask me, the only complain I have is the "buzzer" sound from camps but that's just a minor thing.
