Short summary lore in the client while the long main lore be on the website.

I honestly do not agree with this method of presenting champion lore. It's like putting the sketches of your artwork in the museum with a sign saying,"the actual artwork is at my house."(I think I read that Riot is going to post links at the end of the summaries to the main lore, which I guess is slightly better)

I honestly don't understand why you can't put everything in client. You don't want to bore people with walls of text? Why would they be in the LORE section if they aren't willing to read walls of text?Still don't want to bore people? Then present the lore in interesting ways like get Patrick Stewart (obviously this is a joke) to read it with relevant images in the background or something & do it IN CLIENT. If the content is good, why not put it in client AND on the champions' page on the website. You're telling me you want to replace Braum story of him PUNCHING THROUGH A MOUNTAIN with some summary,"He's a moustache with a door.",because you don't want to bore people with walls of text?Post the MOUNTAIN PUNCHING everywhere for everyone & their moms to see!!

Now,I'm not here to hate on the lore team.I'm just here to say I disagree with this decision.I want the lore to be their in the client.Because as a gamer who values story & characters over most others aspect of a video game (games like Mass Effect, the Legend of Zelda & the Last of Us),I would prefer if you kept what little story/lore there is in client. You know I can't get it in this multiplayer PVP only game with no story or campaign mode.

As I said,I don't have anything against the lore team. They haven't don't anything that personally affected me..........(yet),so I have no reason to be angry with them.Though,I do observe the situation between them & lore fans.I just want to keep what little they have in client (actually I really hope they can EXPAND it,but that's a different topic).I you have confidence that the work is good, then put you artwork in the museum.People are in the museum because they ARE interested in seeing what's there.

The problem is that the 2-4 sentences in the client (I think Kalista has 5) just don't cut it.

Take Amumu for example:

Amumu is a diminutive, animated cadaver who wanders the world, trying to discover his true identity. He rose from an ancient Shuriman tomb bound in corpse wrappings with no knowledge of his past, consumed with an uncontrollable sadness.

It sounds like someone looked at his splash art and wrote what they saw there.

Skarner is the exact same way:

Skarner, the crystalline guardian, defends the entrance to a realm deep beneath the Shuriman wastes. The few who survive trespassing his domain describe a creature of terrifying intelligence, anger, and precision. What this merciless creature protects, no one knows.

These short bits of information don't tempt anyone into looking further into a champions lore. They need to be expanded at least a little to accomplish the stated goal.

Thing is there are people who are interested in the lore on a smaller scale than hardcore lore fans. Sometimes people just want to get the general idea about the champ in question, but if they meet a wall of text they might be all "meh not interesting enough"

This actually happened to me when i started playing the game,I thought about getting into the lore, but then quickly lost interest when i saw the texts. Only later when i got to know certain champs a bit better through smaller things I've got interested enough into the game to actually bother with the lore(and even then I never bothered to look it up in the client,I always read it on the wiki or the official site, when I'm in the client i want to play)

There is also the issue that riot wants to expand champion lores. As in "Some champs will receive additional lore pieces over time" Sure a single lore piece would probably fit into the client, but how would it look if there were 2 or 3 lore pieces like this?

The client lores are also going to have a link,so if you are the person who wants the full thing right from the get go,there is nothing hindering you to just click that link(once its added at least...)
