The silent Shen ult

After playing games as Shen and versus Shen I have one question: does Shen's ultimate ability have lower volume now than it had before the update? I have never had problems hearing it coming before the update, but now I almost do not hear it at all if I am playing against him. The ultimate sound for your team have a much higher volume, which I find weird. It is at least as importat to get the small warning that the sound provides when he is coming in to assist an opponent.

I know that one can see the animation on Shen's target, but that is a different topic.
