How about, instead of a sword we get a banner/flag?
this is a good idea. i think more than just 1 of the skins should have alternate colors for their swords. gold for warlord, red for blood moon, and probably metallic grey for surgeon.
it wouldn't make me happy with the rework, but it would make it look better.

I worked on the team that did the Shen rework and I really like the feedback you gave. This is a great idea. Saying that though, the team decided to do other things for Warlord Shen. The blades being individual was a big deal to us but keeping it to some consistent color was also a big deal for competitive integrity. I know that we have failed that in the past so things that have the chance of changing team fights need to be easily identified. The animator that worked on Warlord Shen has done some awesome things. I've seen him around the office with a fake plastic sword practicing unique and awesome moves for Shen.
Thank you again for the awesome idea Stigtrix, after Shen comes out and you get to play around with him. Let me know how you feel about this skin, one way or another.
only new thing im seeing in the skin besides new texture is they have a different auto animation for him i would approve this change

i was thinking the same excact thing there is no reason for them to change the blade but not its color to fit nicely on the skin

its a good idea overall and looks awesome, but all others other skins' blade are blue-ish (lighter,darker etc...) and i dont think they should change the color because the game has already thousands of abilities and will have more with more champs being released that yellow sword could make the screen a total mess during a team fight and confuse players

Agreed. Upgrading the models isn't enough if his abilities, the bread and butter of his visuals are all the same.

As much as I would like it, they didnt bother to change any of the colors on Poppy's reworked skins, so I wouldnt hold your breath. If taric has any magical glowing stuff in his update, possibly for auras, heal, or his ult (if it stays similar) they may not change the colors on his skins either.
Easily his best skin.
