Marauder vs Warden lore feels like a missed opportunity.

Being about a core concept since League of Legends was created I feel like this is just missing out on all the love it could be getting. There is a lot of lore here with the whole Magelords vs the Protectorate (being the actual Blue vs Red side in-game actually) and I was wondering if this universe would ever be expanded on. I know it was just some cheap 750 RP skins but I would love to see lore about these as they kind of tie in with the game? Any expansion to any skinline is welcomed and I was curious to what other people (and maybe a Rioter) think about it :D
