Will YasuoxRiven become a canon couple?

I just want to start off by saying I've got nothing against people who ship YasuoxRiven or the coupling itself. I have my ships, you can have yours.

That said, I'm really concerned for about what sort of relationship RIOT is trying to portray them in. I'd prefer for YasuoxRiven to NOT become canon. In the lore, the two have an unbreakable bond so I understand that people may fantasize the two having a more personal relationship.(I love × ) However, I'm on the other side of the fence. I prefer the two to not be romantic as I am incredibly bored with the "a relationship between a man and a woman will always become romantic" trope. What I loved about the two's story in the official lore was that they were not depicted as lovers, but as good companion.

For me, I like to imagine that Riven is in a relationship with someone else. I know some would say that "it shouldn't matter if so-and-so is canon, ship whatever you want", but for me, once something becomes canon, I find it wrong to ship something else. If I tried to, it'd feel like a fake, a failed imitation. For someone like me that loves Runeterra's lore, I can't bear that.

Others might object by saying that "YixFiora is hinted in the Celestial Sword skins but it's not canon". That is true, but the two aren't connected in the lore in the first place. It's easy to disregard what a skin line may say. But Yasuo and Riven are heavily tied together in the lore. Plus, they've had kids. These aren't just hinting at things anymore. Like, if Dawnbringer Riven is different from canon Riven (since she has a different height and aura in her model) and the act of having children wasn't sexual, I can handle it but honestly? It doesn't look it.

So my big questions are: will YasuoxRiven become a canon couple? Will they have sex? Or will there be proof that they are not? Please answer me. I love this game's lore, but recently all it has brought me is frustration and heartbreak.(To avoid misunderstanding:I think Zed's comic is pretty amazing.) You might think it's dumb "to get so worked up over a video game" but I truly hold this close to my heart. But if this is the last straw, then so be it.

Add:The Odyssey skin also suggests that Yasuo has a lover. If they are lovers in any alternate universe, isn't it almost Cannon?
