Pantheon's new backstory

Mount Targon | League of Legends

Having read the new lore for Pantheon, I can't imagine that the Spartan warrior in the splash art is the same guy from this secluded mountain town in the freezing north. I don't think it really matches up with his appearance at all. I may be the only one who thinks this, but I wanted to start a discussion. The whole of Mount Targon and the sun-god-worshiping Rakkor doesn't bring a Spartan warrior to mind. His enemies are said to be wearing furs, armor, and wield axes. This makes me think of a more Norse-centered hero. It makes me think of Odin and Frea not Jupiter and Hera. I think the approach is all wrong, and Pantheon's visuals should be updated to fit his lore. I want to know if there is anyone who agrees and/or disagrees with me.

They already said they are planning to make a really big change to his visuals soon.

Ugh come on. I love the fact he was a Spartan. That's what drew me to him in the first place. Don't change that to fit the new lore, the new lore should have payed attention to the fact he was a spartan.
