Skin Splash Update Priority?

Grief Me Please·9/9/2016, 11:11:58 AM·9 votes·10,295 views

I was hoping someone would be able to answer this, so here goes: What's up with the "new splash" priority? Fiora is a relatively recent rework, and her splashes honestly look fine! But Karma was the first relaunched champion, and her splashes for Traditional, Sun Goddess, and Sakura all suck, straight up. She still uses fans in them for pete's sake! Why would Fiora get higher priority over Karma? Also are there any plans to change Traditional and Sakura Karma so that her dress doesn't look like it's made out of silly putty?

We are doing Fiora first because of the reasons many people have listed below. That being said I have heard you guys loud and clearly about Karma's splashes. I have since put them much higher on the priority list. They will likely be in the next batch after Twitch. We probably won't start that batch until after Warwick releases though since WW has so many splashes.

Why would Fiora get higher priority over Karma?

As far as I know, they started doing a new Nightraven Fiora splash before they even decided to not release the Chinese splash for the skin due to community feedback and outrage, so they probably just thought that it might be better to just keep doing Fiora, as she also doesn't have that many outdated splashes (only Nightraven- which they had already started- Royal Guard and possibly Headmistress), while with Karma, they'll have to start doing three new ones (again, Fiora already had Nightraven's completely new splash in the pipeline back then).

You also have to consider that there's Warwick who is obviously a much more of an 'immediate' project (due to his upcoming VGU) than the likes of Fiora, Twitch or Karma. What I'm saying is that they probably had just about enough time to finish Nightraven, start Royal Guard and Headmistress(?) and ship those before they'd have to start shifting those resources onto Warwick.

Just my guess based on Red posts though. :P

The thing is that the skin splash art update had a previous phase in which they simply updated the splash arts based on personal preference(that is for example the reason why we've got a vandal brand skin splash art update).

They likely already started the splash arts for of Fioras skins in that phase,so they don't require that much work to finish.

As for which Karma splashes are going to be updated: I guess they'll update traditional, sun godess and sakura karma, because those 3 have fairly outdated splash arts.

Nightraven DEFINITELY needs a new splash
