Can we get some info on the current lore situation?

I know Morello said that they are still trying to get the story aspect of the game up and running, but we sort of feel in limbo. Not really knowing what the current state of it is obviously causing some unrest in the community.

Is there any way we can get some sort of indication of what the current story situation is? We don't need any spoilers, just a "We're almost there!" or something like that. Anything will make us feel better.

We would like something, at the very least. It's getting hard to be patient, and some have just given up on the lore altogether, which is saddening.
