I was watching Annie's origin video and a thought struck me. Is there a chance Daisy survived the river?

I saw some forum posts about people speculating the pebble Ivern used to give Daisy a new heart was the soul of Annie's sister, Daisy. I don't quite believe that, but perhaps Daisy did survive, would Riot bring her back in some way? A new champion?

Different Daisy. Annie's stepsister did not survive.

I've been speculating for a while that this new flower mage is going to be Daisy. Even if it isn't, I think Daisy did survive and might be a champion sometime. There's no way that there would be so many motifs for her, including an in-game icon, if she were just dead.
