Chromas and pipeline

When it comes to deciding which skin I would like to buy one of the major things that affects my decision is whether or not Chromas will be available for a skin. Unfortunately, if it's not on a site like Surrender@20 it's impossible to tell which, if any, skins that exist will have Chromas for them so I get stuck sitting there being indecisive and never choosing one.

-Will Riot ever reveal, in significant advance, which skins for a champion are being chroma'd and worked on? -Will all skins [particularly 975 and below] eventually have Chromas? -Are there any current Chromas being worked on for any of Irelia's reworked skins within the next 3 to 6 months?

Hihi!

Unfortunately, we haven't gotten this down to an exact science yet :(

We are a small team scrappy team that started with a dream that customization options for skins would be loved. Since then, we have been growing up with Chromas! We are still learning and growing now. Thus, what does the future entails is still a mystery to even ourselves!

To answer your questions:

  • Most likely not all skins will have Chromas. Sometimes color options just doesn't make sense!
  • We will more likely focus on newer skins when it comes to Chromas.
  • The team haven't thought about rework champions, however, this is something that is on our radar!
