why do the lunar revel splashes have sunlight in the background?

Seriously. Whose idea was it to put that pretty golden light in the background of not one, not two, but ALL THREE of the Lunar Revel splashes? Terrible choice that I can't avoid focusing on in spite of otherwise gorgeous splash art. Give us something that resembles moonlight!

New Years have frequently been associated with 'the first sunrise'.

Its a part of Chinese mythology, to which the lunar revel event is closely linked. Lux I assume represents the sun goddess Xihe.

Warwicks splash is perfection, anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Wrong I say.
