How big do you think Mount Taragon is?

https://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/f/f1/Mount_Targon_Mountain.png/revision/latest?cb=20161119001248 I ask this because Leona's lore hinges on the fact that she needs to find Diana for whatever important reason so how big would a mountain have to be ( or more accurately how much land would it have to cover) for it to be difficult for an ASPECT to find another ASPECT especially if Diana isn't exactly hiding

Leona can go days on end without food or rest She's basically a demigod so could cover great distances So why the difficultly? Perhaps this is a result of the fact that of all the updated factions, Mount Taragon has no sequence of events linked by champion stories Heck it's the only one that didn't get a Region story.

Bigger than any mountain in our world, far bigger. I can't give dimensions, but it's basically Mount Olympus in my head, a mountain for gods. Mindbogglingly huge.

Well first we can compare Targon to Mt Kilimanjaro, the worlds tallest freestanding mountain. Kilimanjaro is incredibly fucking big, and if I were to guess I would say that Targon is likely bigger. No matter how fast you could get around the mountain, it would be like finding a needle in a haystack if you just consider the sheer size.

It is also likely that Targum is much more complex than on the surface, caves, thick vegetation, impassable sections would all make traversing the mountain looking for a single person much more difficult

Confirm, spent 8 days at Kili in 2016. There is A TON of area at Kilimanjaro with a lot of geographic variation, from plains to dry valleys to plant-lined streams. Some days, your visibility will be nil because of fog or rain or snow at the summit. And all the while, you're not only at high elevations with less oxygen (I'm assuming Leona and Diana breath), but also going up and down inclines. I'd say it is definitely feasible for one person to have difficulty finding another on a mountain like that, especially if Targon is even bigger.

Targon is highest moutain of Valoran, also possibly Runeterra. And how Targon is ridiculously dangerous to climb, I would compare it to Everest rather than Kilimanjaro.

Everest is not known for being especially dangerous anymore. It's still dangerous, but for example there's a line to stand at the summit

I actually don't know much about Kilimanjaro and Everest, you may be right, but still I feel like Targon would be more similar to Everest than Kilimanjaro in apperance.

Hmm check the latest season of Everest climbing and you will not say that. Still really dangerous 1 on 4 climbers die in the ascension.

I guess your right And from the images we see Taragon is not a freestanding but part of a massive mountain range So I'm greatly underestimating its potential size

I think it would be difficult for Leona to find Diana, especially since she left Targon and is heading her way to Ionia.

Nobody knows it. But yeah, we have so many lore bits hidden in the color text of other champion, it can easily happen you miss something. The Targon Lore is just a big mess. I wanna have my old Leona and Diana back, argh.

Easy to follow doesn't mean it is good written. Maybe I think it's stupid to rewrite Leona, Pantheon and Diana into a not recognize mess, losing all there establish character they had pre-retcon. Especially, as reader I can't even take any of their action seriously, since their only puppets of their aspect and they basically have free jail card for not taking any responsibility about their action, to say it blunt. The aspect basically are just Dei ex machina and I goddamit hate it.

Overall I love the post-retcon lore, but honest I hate that Riot did to Leona, Diana, Pantheon or Vayne. They basically lost all their pre-retcon established character.

Look I'm not sure how to state this clearly but their was basicly no character development for any of the targon character.

First let's start with Pantheon who can basicly one things towards his character, a 300's rip off. He had zero absolute zero character development, he had zero relationship with anyone, his only “relationship” being leona childhood friend was basicly a cheap stick on to show us their from the same tribe. Pantheon had no character, unless you count his generic 300 spartan archetype character.

Leona in the old lore was basic your generic D&D lawful good paladin. Her character development was as flat as the mongolian planes. She starts of off as goody goody and ends with being a goody goody. Also despite being the holy aspect of the solari, she somehow was no where seen during Diana trial, and zero acknowledgement or reason given to the fact why she wasn't there.Her character was so monotoned it wasn't even funny. And let's not get into the fact her VO made appear arrogant and agressive despite her lore displaying non of those traits. So if you could point to character development that isn't your personal headcanon and some sort of fanon, I would gladly correct myself.

Man I'm not even going to bother debunking your next point because that logic is simply too illogical that I don't even know where would I start.

Right their with you mate. They took away a human story with characters acting under their own influences and replaced all the interesting parts with a damn space empire taking over everything and warping their stories around it.

I hate it.

And that doesn't even get into the timeline not making any damn sense.

Well without celestrial guidance it would take aparently month to ascend to the top of mount targon normally according to pantheons lore.

Beside Leona is quite busy dealing with the internal politic of the solari not to mention defending vassal tribes from invaders so I don't think she is very actively looking for Diana
