A personal thank you to Riot's art department

I don't normally do this, because I don't normally care about the artistic choices in video games, but I just have to say a heart felt thank you to Riot's art department. Kindred is absolutely wonderful. It's not just the model, the visual effects(which are certainly pleasing) but the voice acting and story and concept is just so stunningly beautiful. The dynamic between Lamb and Wolf is gorgeous, hearing them both talk together and how there just seems to be love, a joining, a union between them. Lambs voice is also amazing. Whoever did the voice acting is gifted. The dialog is so well crafted that even just the aspect of jungling alone is still fun because I can listen to play between Lamb and Wolf.

"Tell me again, little Lamb, which things are ours to take?" "All things, Wolf."

I played a couple of games with friends on Skype tonight and while they were having fun, telling jokes, and determining who to kill and whatnot, I remember listening to a short string of dialog between Lamb and Wolf, wherein Wolf asks Lamb to tell him a story(which, by the way, is just heartrendingly endearing to hear). I couldn't hear all of it because a pretty major battle was taking place at the time, but I just wanted to tell my friends to shut up so I could hear Lamb and Wolf talking. "I don't care who's dying, I wanna hear Lamb's story, too!"

The kinship is just such a wonderful aspect and I salute your talent and brilliance. Few games have been able to actually emotionally move me, but you were able to do so with one very small portion of a very large game. The depth and the beauty of the relationship between Lamb and Wolf is something that has made Kindred my favorite champion. I don't care if she's powerful(though she is, which is fun), I just love listening to them.

It's not just Kindred, either. Jinx is fun and upbeat and Braum is a champion that I play when I'm feeling down just to hear his soothing voice and cheer. Even if I'm losing, I can still sometimes have fun just listening to "Mother always said 'don't lose!'" It's amazing to me what you've been able to do with such limited interactions with the characters to still give them life and vibrancy. Sion feels like an unstoppable horror, even taking out his abilities. Amumu breaks my heart with his little "let's find some friends!" And Panda Annie's recall animation? So cute it should have a warning label.

The sounds and the sights of this game are truly wonderful. You've made an amazing work of art here.

Thank you. It is a joy to play your game.
