Soraka = Yordle

Ok, so I propose Soraka used to be a yordle, but changed after events in her lore.

  1. In a recent post, someone points out the similarities between Tristana and Order of the Banana Soraka. Your first thought is probably her goat legs and horn, but we'll get into that later.

  2. Diving into her lore, it is said that Soraka was once an immortal being who lived in a grove. Similarly Lulu lived in The Glade (another planty place) for centuries, still childlike. As said in Lulu's lore, "There the rigid properties of the outside world - things like size and color - changed as frequently and whimsically as the direction of the wind." This might be the reason for Soraka's "special" features and height.

  3. So far, yordle age has never been proven to really exist. For all we know, yordles could be immortal!

  4. The main point of Soraka's lore is where she loses her immortality by hurting people with her divine powers of healing. This is very alike to the Christian/Jewish story of (insert name of angel that I don't remember) where the angel uses their power wrongly and becomes a demon. A demon is most commonly noted to have horns and have goat legs (for some reason? :P).

  5. Soraka's grove may be the same place as The Glade, but her lore says that people went to Soraka for help, so Lulu just went deeper in. Lulu may have been Soraka's unknown apprentice, which would lay a foundation for her magic, because no where in her lore does it say how Lulu got her powers. Also to note that Soraka's title is "The Starchild" while Lulu is pretty much a child.

  6. Soraka is said to hail from Ionia, but her lore never mentions any relative locations. She might just associate more with people like Karma and Shen

What do you guys think? Anything to add?
