I tip my hat to Riot in one aspect regarding recent skins......

They are slowly but surely giving some champions brand new skins after years of neglect. Yes there is still skin favoritism that seriously grinds peoples (myself included) gears but I’ll leave that to 1000 and 1 other posts out there to talk about. However we have been seeing a steady decrease in the number of champions that have gone a looooooooooong Time without any new skins. I don’t expect all to be looked at within close proximity of each other cause at the end of the day, the games a business so time and resources will go where the money is. Are what remains of champions that have gone more than 2 years without a new skin and if mains are lucky a handful may get a new skin for the two remaining patches of season 7 ( not added cause they’ll have to wait till next year at best for a new skin and will have to wait even longer cause their VGUs are/will very likely be next year)

And on a side note Illaoi is 1 patch away from going 2 years without a new skin SINCE RELEASE

I seriously dont understand this. Sure complete neglect on some champions isnt good. Thats true. But are you saying ALL skin favoritism is bad? Balance favoritism? Bad Player Favoritism? Bad But Skin favoritism? That thing that is 100% cosmetic, that also earns Riot their revenue? I think that favoritism there is 100% founded. I play Ahri as a lack of the next guy. But if 3 Ahri skins can pay for their whole staff for a year, and then they use that to develop more skins for champs that need it, sure release as many Ahri skins as you want.

We know that at least Rammus , Shaco Fiddlesticks are on the VGU-list as well,so it is very unlikely for them to get a skin,even if they aren't such a high priority as the 4 you listed below.

And just because a champ got a VGU doesn't mean they'll have to wait at least a year. Taric got his rework in april last year and got his poolparty skin a few months later.

I'll finally forgive and forget when these champions have gotten another skin within 2 1/2 years. otherwise it'll just be another repeat of what has already happened.

They are finally giving older champs new skins, but they all feel bland and devoid of inspiration and passion. Eternum Cass is just generic, I don't see how she fits the theme, she's not an entity driven by instinct like Rek or Noc. The Yorick skin is just a generic Archlight 'what if they were good' skin and the Viktor skin (along with the Zed and Kat skins) is pretty bland and not up to the quality of a skin like Bee Keeper Singed.

The Bee Keeper Singed skin is unique, it really fits Singed and no one else, it also feels like a great idea and genuine passion went into making the skin it feels. It's a shame the other 3 champions just got generic skins from a skin line that honestly aren't that great.
