The fact that Aatrox talks to Kayle about Ascension, the Darkin being Ascended of Shurima who got corrupted by the void, I imagine that their rework will make them Shuriman. Possibly Kayle seeking Ascension, or being already Ascended. All I hope for is that Kayle's model evolves from early game to late game, potentially having no wings early game and growing them as she Ascends into her late game power.
I mean Angels are supposed to come from the heavens and the heavens in this universe is Targon soo.. Also Aatrox interacts with them saying stuff about Kayles ascension so...you...better get ready for disappointment

Riot doesn't understand this, they are going down the Marvel route when they needed to explain how someone got powers. "They are a mutant." Of course DC went the "They are aliens." route so...copying DC is more likely.
