... dude... you REALLY think that the tooltip is real and what they say about one shot void creatures is real as well? No way, its a joke.
And anyways, they might be talking about the herald and other creatures, not that the new champion is a void creature.
Splision1 votesI never talked about the tooltip. I talked about the comment the rioter left behind which is corroborated by the teaser in the video. I definitely hope that tooltip is fake, especially with that last passive (I ain't got that type of BE to spend).
It's true that the phrasing by the rioter could have been a mistake, but as it is used in the comment the rioter is stating that next champ is a voidling. I'm not saying that it is I'm just saying that based on the semantics of that phrase. If the intended semantics were as you stated then they would (or at least should) use a phrase along the lines of, "This champions R ability will be able to one shot Herald and other void creatures (including Baron)...".

If you're not a fan of the recent champs, that's fine. You don't have to play them. Just go play Garen & the champs you do like.
Jaspers3 votesI understand that. Maybe not as simplistic as Garen but I'd say some of the best new kits created in the last few years have been reworked champs. I would say Xayah and Rakan on their own are both great champ designs with kits that add 'nothing new' so to speak. Xayah is an adc, just leaves things on the ground. Rakan has lost of movement and CC. Complicated game changing things don't make a champ with special things to keep the game interesting, they just have to make the champ fun. Rakan is very fun to play without Xayah.

GreenLore1 votesI'd say in Rakans case the uniqueness comes more from his playstyle as he is essentially a support with an assassin playstyle,something that no other support in the entire game has. Also Xayah laying her feathers on the ground and being able to recall them all at once is rather unique.
Not to mention that they are the only 2 champs with inbuilt synergy.
Sure they don't introduce some major new mechanic(like Zoes spellthief,Ornns ability to make his own items or Kayns transformation),but they,like all other new champs(ivern jungling without killing,Camilles no-escapezone&physical shield,kleds 2 healthbars,etc.),still introduce some new mechanics.

The ability to do the former all but guarantees victory just because of how valuable Baron is, the latter (which is difficult to set up anyway) does not.

As you can see, the game has way more male champions than female, so it is ok for me that the next marksman is going to be a woman. We could get several females in a row now and wouldn't even come close to even out the difference here (almost 40 more males than females).

If we count these in, the gap just gets even wider. Which is one of the reasons why I personally just created female champion concepts til now (even if I would like to try a male).
Some regions are especially hard struck here.
The Void just has 1 female right now, the new champ will be the second. Zaun has 12 champions in total, but just 2 of them are female (Janna and Jinx).

We've got almost twice as many male champs in the game than female champs(and most of the gender neutral champs have at least male voices,so it is easy to see them as male,heck Fiddlesticks is actually male in his new lore,as he is the spirit of a deceased man that haunts a scarecrow),yet we do have more female adcs than male ones. This means that at least on a percental basis we've got a big amount of female champs as adcs,as ~20% of the female champs are adcs,while not even 10% of the male chams qualify as adcs.
Though I agree that we need more female champs in general and I don't really have a problem with the next champ being a female ADC,I just wish they would introduce more female champs in other classes(I mean come on,we only have 3 female tanks)
