Veigar's connection to LeBlanc?

So, while browsing Veigar's universe page, I couldn't help but notice that LeBlanc is listed as one of his related champions. But I don't know of any lore that ties the two together, so I was wondering what the connection was.

We know that Veigar was imprisoned and tortured in Mordekaiser's dungeons, and that this torture basically drove him insane and turned him into the Tiny Master of Evil. But we don't know who his torturer was, or what they did to him. It doesn't seem like Mordekaiser would have tortured the yordle directly; he likely had far grander schemes to attend to, like conquering kingdoms and building an empire.

So I was thinking, maybe LeBlanc was the one who broke Veigar's mind and turned him evil? After all, she worked for Mordekaiser for a time, and her speciality is in crafting illusions and manipulating minds. It's easy to imagine that she would have both excelled at and revelled in driving the yordle insane through psychological torture, constantly playing with his emotions, bombarding him with disorientating illusions, gradually warping his mind to the service of Mordekaiser (or perhaps to the service of LeBlanc herself?)

I think this opens up an interesting angle to Veigar, as it offers potential method to his madness: maybe his actions are not the mere whims of a mad yordle, but in fact carefully choreographed toward some higher purpose by the arch-manipulatrix LeBlanc and her Black Rose cabal?
