Caitlyn and Camille lore

Skip to around 7:25 in the video. Camille will say "Don't go looking for something you don't want to find." to Caitlyn.

I'm not sure if anyone figured this out yet, but in Caitlyn's lore, she has only never found 1 person.

This person is Caitlyn's arch-nemesis still to this day.

This so called criminal left a card with the letter "C" at the crime scene.

This C Is probably Camille because Camille says "Don't go looking for something you don't want to find" to Caitlyn in game.

Caitlyn's lore is finally finished now. (99% chance)

This has been brought up a few times by a few people (myself included) but C was a cat burglar who left a calling card with C on it. Camille isn't the kind of person to do either of those things.

Camille wasn't just a "cat burglar." It said she performed high profile heists in Caitlyn's lore.

So think about it. Who else could perform a high profile heist, get away with it, stay hidden from Caitlyn, and become worthy of Caitlyn's archnemesis, and has something to do with the letter "C"?

Don't think she would do heist either. In her comic she says she get rid of disfunctionnal members of society or those who bring harm to how the society works, so she is more of an assassin.

Actually, a lot more signs point toward it being her: her parents were kidnapped by a rival clan AND everybody else who was in the house at the time was_ dead_. I assume Camille stole everything and left the card to suggest to Caitlyn that it was not somebody of Camille's caliber. Besides, you can't just brush off the interaction easter egg AND the fact that she managed to avoid Caitlyn, who has never let a case go cold, besides those involving C.

First off that post was made before Caitlyn's lore update, which added in the rival clan elements and removed the calling card. (Caitlyn discovered C through investigation now)

Second, Camille is not the kind of woman who would take political prisoners and use them as slaves. She'd just kill them and move on.

Thirdly if you need to justify someone's out of character behavior by saying they did it to throw off suspicion, you're overthinking it :P especially when that character has never been shy about being a butcher before.

And yes, I can very easily brush off that Camille and Caitlyn have interactions. They're both major players in law enforcement (kinda) for the same city and both are fairly in/famous; it'd be weird if they never spoke to each other. Nothing about their interactions points to C, either.

I have to admit, you're probably right about the overthinking bit; it's one of my less desirable tendencies that I have come to know :P However, Camille is a servant to her clan, meaning she does as she's told or otherwise what is best for her clan. Meaning, if she is told to take prisoners, she will do so unless she sees fault in that plan. She obviously didn't know that Caitlyn was going to track her down, and how could she? Caitlyn didn't even know it herself until she'd done it. So she of course would've taken them prisoner if that's what it meant to serve her clan. And even if you factor out the bit about the rival clan, the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming.

It was Demacia who requested her services to track down this cat burgler. I'm not ruling out the possibility that Camille has never carried out her work in Demacia but the majority of her work keeps her in Piltover and Zaun
