You guys always saying how much potential she has. CertainlyT said in the latest stream that he would love to work on Irelia and I think the rest of the update team would love it as well. With all that excinement around her why not just update her after galio?
She is probably highest in archetype category also in team excinement category possibly as well?
The thing is that a bunch of other champions are on the VGU list as well and there are a lot of points that speak for them getting the update first.
For example

are pretty much the only champs with pizza feet on their models left
has been broken for years and deserves to finally get an update
is currently the most requested rework after Galio
etc.
Irelia simply isn't the only one who would massively profit from a VGU.
