Kaisa Skin Confusion

I’ve read Kai’sa’s lore, and isn’t her skin suit thing a part of her? It’s what gives her all her power and makes her void. It’s integral to her character. What confuses me is K/DA and prestige Kai’sa, the void skin is gone. I understand skin lines are alternate universes, but the skin seems integral to her lore and character.

What I’m really asking is

  1. am I correct about the lore interpretation
  2. what’s your opinion on making her look completely normal/taking the skin off altogether in skin lines?

For RP skins I think they should keep her little skin suit in some way, but change it. incorperate it into the design. It would be like if they made human Nami, it’s too changed from who she is for it to be believable to me.

it still resembles Kai'sa with the thingies floating above her shoulders. The skin in game model has to be identical to the classic model.

The Void doesn't exist in every universe so Kai'Sa isn't gonna have it in every skin she gets. Maybe Dark Star/ Coven any of the darker non-futuristic skins she can still be a symbiote otherwise they'll replace it with something else

You are pretty much correct with your interpretation of Kai'sa.

However skins changing something about the champion is pretty common. I mean look at Lee sin,who has a skin where he can see,despite his title even being "the blind monk".
