@ Riot: I Am Curious About The Deities in League of Legends

I've read a lot of the old lore and couldn't help but notice the fact that there are some pseudo-gods (demi-gods) in this game.

Elise got her powers from Vilemaw

Cassiopia got her powers from a Serpent-Snake God

Nasus, Renekton, and Azir got their powers from a disk (or Sun God). Zerath got greedy with power and became a being of pure arcane energy (Manhattan Man like), all from this disk. Lets not forget Ezreal got his powers from some wrist band too. Maybe the disk and Ezreal's wrist band are technologies from some super-advanced civilization that may have either visited Valoran some time ago or perished for some unknown reason leaving behind their greatest achievements.

Hecarim, Mordekaiser, Thresh, and others from the Shadow Isles follow orders from "The Ruined King". The Shadow Isles keeps getting stronger every year with each soul they reap. Pretty soon the fog will make its way to Piltover(Wonder what Jayce, Vi, and Caitlin's reactions will be), not to mention Bandle City soon after and Demacia. Noxus and Ionia have already lost several ships to the fog.

Maokai was once a great spirit from the Shadow Isles and now holds the last essence / seed of life from the Shadow Isles. He is sort of a deity too.

Lissandra, and Ashe's Bow (which she inherited from her mother or some queen, I forget) got their powers from "The Watchers". The Watchers almost froze over the entire world in ice.

Varus got his power from a well of corruption.

Volibear got his power from some thunder god.

Anivia seems to be a diety but has lost a vast amount of her powers, probably to "The Watchers" and the darkness that started to consume Valoran.

Aatrox and the Darkin are god-like creatures able to destroy armies single handedly and they only appear in times of despair. Tryndamere got his powers after losing to Aatrox.

All the void champions serve some sort of void master or architect / engineer. Each void champion was created for a single purpose. So this void master is probably god-like in power. Who knows, the master may be another sentient race which have the technology to genetically modify organism, perhaps themselves, and quickly travel through space-time. These beings may have transcended into god-hood.

There is a lot of mystery in Valoran that Riot just doesn't seem to be addressing. With each new champion they release they retcon older lores, but at the same time create more mystery.

Who are these god-like creatures? Did I miss any or get something wrong?

Would Summoner's Rift Dragon and Baron be considered god-like as well? Maybe the blue and red buff golems too.

Will Riot ever get to addressing the huge-arse lore gaps in this game?

I am personally very curious about this game's lore. Would love to hear some answers from Rito on any of these.

Personally I would love to know:

Aatrox's current appearance, could this mean that some eminent catastrophe is about to happen? The Darkin remind me of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse for some reason.

Varus and the well of corruption. What is this corruption and what is it affiliated with? The Watchers, the Void, the Shadow Isles??? Or is it something else? Was the substance from the well similar in all to the black ooze that created Nautilus? Maybe some old magic energy left over from a previous Rune War.

Where do some of these outer factions sit with each other? For example:

What do the Watchers think about the Void and vice versa? How do the Shadow Isles view the Void and the Watchers? Are they enemies or allies?

What would Vel'Koz do if it ever faced Nasus, Renekton, or Azir? Would the void become more interested in Shurima? With Rek'Sai we know the Void has gotten interest in Shurima shortly after Azir transcended.

ashes bow didn't get its powers from the watchers. Ashes bow is made of true ice thats where it gets its powers from(same goes for braums door, trundles club and sejuanis flail).

It is unknown if the true ice was created by the watchers or if it is a natural material.

Cassiopaia's power is a curse, a defense mechanism triggered by the cell where Xerath was locked (probably to scare others so they wouldn't free him).

Shurima does not necessarely hava a "sun god" - the disk could also be super ancient technology using the power of the sun, converting it into magic. The ascension ritual give every user another form, depending on his personality I guess...

The Watcher's from the freljord aren't gods either, more like Void-Interference.

About the Shadow Isles: I think the ruined king was the one who was tricked into tearing down the border of life and dead with help of magic (some PBE Maokai lore stated so some time ago), he's the cause of the shadow isles current state, but no god either.

The only "real" candidates for being a deity are vilemaw, wich I consider to be just a really strong spider spirit (aka being the strongest of something = god of it) and the Darkin, but we barely now anything about them.

You forgot about Soraka. She was a deity (star-goddess-something) but gave up her powers in order to help... Warwick? Dunno, I don't remember.
