I was reviewing the boards when I came across a post in which WAAARGHbobo stated

the thing that intrigues me is the word "Demon" which also describes who is a darkin, it is also known that there are 5 darkin left(including ) and possibly the next demon like Aatrox is Tahm Kench

I think Aatrox was never described as a demon,the only other champs who were ever described as demons are Shaco (he is the demon jester) and Swain (he calls himself a giant demon bird while he is ulting).

Its been confirmed that TK is not a Darkin.

The name of the Gambler, incidentally, is Tahm Kench. And to my recollection, they said something along the lines that Tahm is basically an idea made flesh, of hunger personified. He's a demon that literally lives to eat. I don't think he has any connection with the Darkin, which is an entirely separate race.

I'mp pretty sure that it was even confirmed that he's not a Darkin in the Q&A. I might be wrong though.
