That's called a Legendary skin, assuming youre talking about the Jhin skin.
That said, over all the skins recently have been EXTREMELY disappointing.
Wow Lux and Kaisa get their fourth skins this year, amazing oh and they can both be gold becauuuuuse $150 chromas are so cool!
Literally no one liked the Ivern skin, with mains from many other champions going to the Ivern Reddit and filling with "Sorry about your skin, Ivern mains. That's rough buddy."
As for the Elementalist Lux and Gun Goddess Miss Fortune, Ultimate-level skins take a LOT of time and work, especially given they tend to come with animated Splash arts as well.
Plus, with the exorbitant price tag and permanent exclusion from ever going on sale, they are exceedingly rare.
As of now, we have... I think 6 in the game.
The first, and the worst until being updated... twice.
and his $35 VGU. Might have actually been BEFORE Pulsefire Ezreal ... But given the quality of the former prior to being updated the first time, I'm going to assume SGU came later.
Set the bar for what a quality skin should be. Nearly every skin released is now on par with this skin, and it came out ... In 2014?
I feel like I'm missing someone, but this skin was a good 3-4 years after DJ Sona's release; Until then, the idea of an Ultimate skin was pretty much considered a pipe dream.
And then we got this, and even at a reduced cost, nobody liked it. Wow the visuals on this skin are horrible. Especially the animations. Also, Why did they make that random AI instead of giving her two, "Shock" and "Awe", with opposite personalities and voice effects?
Honorary Ultimate and the most recent, late last year. Yes, this is technically a Legendary skin. However, buying them both costs the same as an Ultimate skin and the skin does indeed come with a drastic visual change during the game - When either Eclipse Leona Ults, they gain the transcendent form until death. This means you have access to 4 skins for the price of "One", but you choose between 2 skins before the game - or you can opt to have fewer options for the price of a standard Legendary.
