I Miss Old Poppy's Voice

Although I know this probably won't change anything, but I have to write a post about this because I told this to my friends and none of them get it!!!

I like Poppy's new kit and design (I kinda liked her old troll face, but I'm all aboard with her new plastic surgery). However, one thing that new Poppy can never replace the old one is her voice. I miss her sassy, demanding, confident voice. I used to mimic her voice all the time while skyping and playing with my friends and I CANNOT DO THAT ANYMORE! Her voice was the reason I called her Poppay (based on how she sounds) instead of Poppy.

This new Poppy's voice replicate so much of new Tristana's. She lost her "I may be short but i'm living large" kind of personality, now she's just a shy version of tristana who's uncertain of herself.

Anyone can relate?

I feel like when dragon trainer tristana was doing more voices they were like oh hey for 10 extra bucks how bout do poppy, nah the problem isn't 100% the voice its the unhealthy hero warship problem.

Old poppy would be ashamed of that, since she really was a hero

I want a traditional poppy skin i'd pay some big bucks all it would have to be is a white haired version of herself with a grumpy face and a voice that sounded like the old one.

bottom line compare the lines

"there will be peace....." vs " I hope the hero likes me"

Ive been a poppy main for 3 years and im so happy to see a decent chunk of threads talk on this problem. I agree when you said the kit is better/ you dont care. I played her as a tank anyways so this new kit is amazing. But the voice man. the fucking voice. It ruined all that she is as a character. Riot misinterpreted what made poppy .. well poppy. They seem to think poppy was characterized by being a yordle and having a hammer and thats it. when in all reality Her voice, what she said, and her background were what made her poppy. and now thats all gone for some stupid ditsy DERPA DERPA HEROS HAMMERS HEROS HAMMERS! fangirl. If you want my long preachy post ill link my reddit post asking for an old poppy voice pack. Somwone said they're working on it.
