Question about a few ships

So, with the Zaun lore rework, Janna has now gone from a woman with wind powers to a wind spirit. Does this mean that Ekko's crush on her (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Ekko/Trivia) is now retconned or what?

Another would have to be Ashe - Tryndamere, since their whole political marriage thing was back in the days of the JoJ and the Institute of War, which has been long since retconned. Neither of their current backgrounds reference the other in any shape or form, nor do they have any interactions with the other. The only things that can remotely give them away as a couple are their King and Queen skins and Heartseeker Ashe's splash art. So I was wondering if this whole ship was also sunk.

What are your guys' thoughts?

Not sure if ekkos crush is truly canon(the wiki sometimes adds stuff that is based on assumptions,for example they did once claim that the shadow isles champs represent the 7 deadly sins),but either way,its not like Ekko can't have a crush on Janna just because she is a spirit.

I mean in real life there are people have a crush on fictional characters,so I don't know why it should be impossible for someone to have a crush on a humanoid wind spirit in runeterra.

And Ashe and Tryndamere seems to be currently in the same position as Garen x Kata. It likely isn't canon at the moment(neither ashe nor tryndameres lores mention it),but it is likely going to become canon again eventually.

The Zaunites think Janna is a goddess and they pray for her: Ekko does the same thing.

The marriage of Ashe and Tryndamere is still canon, but is better wait the Freljord event for be sure.

I'm happy if remain only a political relation and don't become romantic, never liked it this couple.
