A book in progress :-)
You know, I've read a lot of comments about the lore of lol now. Many of them not so positive about all the changes that have been made, and understandable. But I will say that I look at the whole thing like I am reading a book that is in the process of being written. With LoL being the game it is, and things coming out as they have, it is pretty clear that the lore has always been a work in progress. I remember reading a quote by one of the makers a long time ago about Eve, basically saying that when they made her, the shadow isles were just a thought and nothing more. With that said, it can be both an exciting and frustrating process to be keeping up with the story. Frustrating because of all the changes, but exciting in that we are actually being given the chance to not only watch, but be part of an entire world being born. Any author while writing a book, is continuously going back and changing things. Adding characters, changing roles,, adding places, and just swirling around in the creative hurricane until somehow magically, it all comes together. I love that we are getting to see this process unfold. Very rarely does a story being written for publication as it goes, have no plot-holes. Not everyone can pull a Naruto out of their hat, and in fact, even that I am sure many would argue about plot-holes (though I personally love the Naruto story line as well as how it fits together). But Naruto aside, I can say I enjoy the lore of LoL, and am excited to see it continue to unfold more fully to itself.
