I have been thinking of the champions that we have not seen with a brand new skin since 2009-2013 so I made a list here (Champions will be in alphabetical order with the latest skin released):

NOTE: I will let you know when we are in 2016 by updating the lists below so bear with me (list will be farther down below for those who don't really need a new skin for this year)

Woah, this is a pretty solid list!

Let me preface this by saying that we've got a similar list internally, and the time since a champion last received a skin is something we consider when we're creating a new thematic, or looking to create new skins in general.

I'm going to scroll through the need skins/possible candidate skins and give a bit of context to some of them for clarification. ^-^

Poppy - Scarlet Hammer Poppy (February 2012) In the process of a rework - she won't have a skin until after the update is complete.

Taric - Bloodstone Taric (August 2011) In the process of a rework - he won't have a skin until after the update is complete.

Yorick - Pentakill Yorick (June 2011) Needs an update before we look into giving him a skin.

Annie - Sweetheart Annie (February 2015) She's actually a champion with one of the largest skin catalogs - may be a while until you see another skin for this lady.

Evelynn - Safecracker Evelynn (November 2014) Eve is a really old champion with some serious limitations due to her current model and rig. We gave her Safecracker Evelynn, which was a 750 RP skin, because it accepted the limitations and worked well with the thematic. That said, she'll need some kind of update before we give her something crazy in terms of skins.

Okay, with all of that said, we're totally aware that champions like Kennen haven't had a new skin since 2011. He's not on the update list and is eligible for a new skin. The same goes for champions like Viktor. Unfortunately, I'm unable to discuss what may or may not be in development, but I can assure you that champions like these haven't been forgotten about by any means (although it may feel like that sometimes).

We've been working to hit champions who haven't had a skin in a while, so for example, Master Yi hadn't seen a skin since 2012 and he just received PROJECT: Yi. It takes time to get through the list, but we also don't want to just give a champion a skin for the sake of giving them a skin - we want to give them a thematic that works for them. :]

where's the Lissandra love? I honestly thought she would get a new skin for this year's Halloween/Harrowing but nothing happened for her. I get that her thing is ice and that Christmas/December would be a more suitable time for her to get a new skin, but that shouldn't be the case.

Riot, tease us a new skin for Lissy right meow! Please?

The decision to give a champ new skins should also factor in how many existing skins the champ has. Even ignoring the world winner skins, Yorick is so overdue for a new skin that it isn't even funny. Last skin in 2011 and he only has 3 (his original release classic+undertaker skins, and Pentakill). Outside of newly released champs, I can't think of any others that are still sitting on 3.

Poppy Taric and Yorick are not only likely to get a new skin after t heir update, but essentially will get a whole set of new skins as their base and old skins are updated to modern quality.

You posted Whitebeard Ryze's Screens for Varus'. To the topic at hand, gosh, I didn't realize how long it's been since Swain got a skin. He would have been an excellent candidate for a harrowing skin.

Riot said That Team world winners skins dosnt count So Shen TPA skin should not be on that list. Put warlord instead ^^

I sure hope we see a Kennen skin soon.

Sion recently got his VU last year and definitely could use a new skin akin to Tristana who got an excellent new skin now. Poppy, Taric, Yorick and Urgot are all slated for visual updates too and likely won't get skins till they're updated.

That really just leaves poor Kennen as the only champion since 2011 to not receive a new skin and is not slated for a rework or visual update anytime soon. :( I hope both he and Swain get some well deserved skins in the coming patches. I'd really love to play Kennen with updated particles and animations - my favourite champion as well too.
