I also think her passive could use some small tweaks as well, perhaps change it when they remove spell vamp itemization? I still think it should give her health based on spell usage, but something more interactive would be nice.

I think her kit is actually very balanced as it is. The passive doesn't have much interaction, but then, it's a passive, not an active. For her to continue operating as a support, her damage in her W needs to remain as it is. Too much, and she'll end up stealing a lot of CS. She's in a very good place right now. Personally, I think her Ult is a little clunky, but that's a personal opinion, not one on her Balance.
kile1473 votesHer W could have the AP ratio buffed then, not like supports tend to build as much AP. Right now even with midland Morgana the Thunderlords proc feels like the most impactful part of her pool.
As for her passive it just doesn't add anything to her gameplay or even have good interaction with her kit, since two of her abilities are AoE. That's not to say it's not useful, I just feel like there's opportunity there to make someone with a fairly non-interactive laning phase a bit more interesting (the new catalyst will have some interesting synergy with her passive though so maybe that will fix it).

What does supporting mid laner mean? Lulu, tf, karma, zillean even lux and oriana to some degree. They are characters which can protect their feed allies or help those allies get feed in tf case. They build ap but support their team mostly than carry with dmg. Even tho kayle does both. Morgana is only second to her sister.
If she gets buffs she will take over the meta
