Never because only people that like anime would enjoy it instead of the whole community.

Avatar: The Last Airbender was an anime inspired show that many who don't like anime enjoy. The art style doesn't necessarily kill the show on arrival (although if it was spoken in Japanese, that's another matter entirely).

With that said, I think that an animated show would be a great way to display the story, but I don't know if an anime inspired art style is the best aesthetic for it.

I also liked The Last Airbender a lot, but it did not go full anime where people were moving with the speed of light without bending, blood was everywhere (I have no issue with it but it is annoying how 1 regular punch makes enough blood to fill up a f**** pool), and every face is either the one of a pshychopath or a sex dool. That's what I hate about anime (and also how they sexualise literally everything, even minors)
