Let's Talk: Dark Star Orianna

(Yes, I do know her abilities have been updated, but there is still room for improvement)

So, let's talk about Dark Star Orianna. As most can guess this was a highly anticipated skin based off of the the community's eagerness to have it as seen in fan creations and suggestion. And with Dark Star Orianna confirmed and on the PBE, after seeing her I do believe there is room for improvement.

I'm going to start off by saying one thing, at her current state, DS Orianna is not worth 1350. She just isn't. With the amount of elements lacking to her theme, she should be worth, and I'm being generous with this, 975.

Now, when I think of the Dark Star theme and those involved I have sort of given each character his/her own role with the Dark Star.

Thresh - Sort of the Dark Star's 'herald'. Varus - Defender of the Dark Star Kha Zix - The Dark Star's sword. (Hand, anger, etc) Orianna - ???

What needs to be discussed is what is Orianna's role with the Dark Star and how can that be reflected in game. Who is Orianna to the Dark Star? What is her purpose? Perhaps she is the Dark Star. Perhaps she is the physical embodiment of the Dark Star. I sort of get that feeling, and this is because of her ball. We see that her ball is basically a teeny tiny universe. And it's in her grasp. Sort of like the Dark Star we keep hearing about from Thresh, Varus etc. The Dark Star is this cataclysmic cosmic force that can bend, warp, and annihilate galaxies at it's will, and with Orianna having a galaxy within her ball, and actually in her waist when she recalls, I get the feeling that she is sort of the leader of the DS roster we have so far.

So, with what we have already released for the skin, and what I have listed above, how can we improve upon Dark Star Orianna before her release? In my opinion, in order for this skin to live up to its 1350 RP price, a little work will go a long way. Let's start with the base model. (Focusing on those thicc legs mmm) Can I just say those look like the galaxy leggings I bought a year or two ago but never wore? Because that's what her look like. Something, and I don't know how for I am not a digital animation expert, needs to be done in order for her legs in particular to not look like my leggings, but rather fallen galaxies that DS Orianna uses to support her utter darkness. Another thing to be improved upon, her death animation. When I saw her death animation, all I can say was that I was disappointed. She is obviously made of dark matter, fallen galaxies, stars, etc, so why is that when she dies, all of it stays together like peanut butter? I would have rather seen those stars, dark matter, galaxies, etc, just dissipate into the nothingness that she had planned for them! That is enough for her model/death animation/look, I'd like to move on to just one thing concerning her W ability. While I appreciate the change done to it, I think a better direction to turn to would be to, instead of what we have now, put an exploding galaxy in place. Think of the Big Bang. Stars and nebulas flying in every which direction, decimating minions and maybe even a champion or two. Overall, this is what I think can be improved upon in the DS Orianna skin.
