Skin Splash Update: Which splash will you miss the most? Which will you NOT miss the most?

This is a question that has been going through my mind, with the recent skin splash updates we got for Fiora, Twitch, Sion, Nidalee, Trundle, Karma and Tristana. I decided to do a list of future skin splash updates for champions who have received a VGU/VU in the past so here I go:

Starting off with the splashes I will miss: Silent Night Sona - probably my second favorite Sona splash in the game, so elegant and pretty, I'm really gonna miss that splash when it gets updated [zombie-nunu-tears] http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Sona_3.jpg

Arcade Sona - I really like Arcade Sona, this is my second favorite Arcade splash behind Ahri, I like the colors and how the dress blends in with the background http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Sona_5.jpg

Candy Cane Miss Fortune - this splash grew a little on me, I will certainly miss this one a bit http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/MissFortune_4.jpg

Sailor Gangplank - yes, I know this one looks like crap, but I actually like Gangplank's goofy look and I will probably miss that look when the splash gets updated http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Gangplank_3.jpg

Longhorn Alistar - when the splash got changed to this during the Global Splash Update, I used to hate it but as I looked at it countless times during champ select and loading screen, I guess it grew on me as one of my favorite Alistar splashes, sure the old one was (and still is) awesome but this one is just as awesome and I will probably miss this one as well http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Alistar_4.jpg

Let me know which ones you will miss and which ones you will NOT miss Please state your reason why you will miss or not miss these splashes.

Also, no reworks or future reworks like Urgot or past skin splash updates are to be mentioned, this post is only about skin splashes for the following: Annie, Ashe, Alistar, Heimerdinger, Sona, Miss Fortune, Garen, Gangplank, Karthus, Kassadin, Renekton, Nasus and Sivir.

First off, I would like to restate my opinion that the current goth annie splash looks good.

Anyway.

Totemic Maokai. I didn't even know what Maokai's kit was until recently, but I always liked the splash for his totemic skin.

Ironically, Warrior Princess Sivir and Bandit Sivir, for the same reasons you hate them.

It's already gone but, Original NA Blood Moon Akali will never be forgotten.

Queen Ashe is the one I'll miss the most.

It's the one skin I bought only for the splash art and I think in terms of quality it's actually pretty great in spite of Riot wanting to update it. If anything I'd just retouch the background, Ashe herself looks really cool and detailed.

I won't miss any of outdated Sivir splashes though.

Miss: the current Blood moon Akali: In my opinion, the most beautiful splash in the game.

Don't miss: Literally everything to do with nunu.

I feel like the Chinese version of Spectacular Sivir is actually pretty high quality in comparison to a lot of the other Chinese stuff that is due for an update, but I guess for a super hero themed skin it should probably reflect that more, so I got high hopes for Riot's art team. I'll be pretty happy to see a lot of the low quality globalized Sivir splasharts get fixed though because that stuff is honestly an atrocity

From your list:

Annie

So I'm not gonna miss Red Riding or Annie in Wonderland. They're a little too cartoony for the League art style. I am forever bitter that Frostfire Annie's splash was changed, I loved the old one, and so I hope when they remake it it draws elements from the old splash art.

Sona

As my main, I am looking forward to seeing what they do with Sona's splashes. I hope they fix it so she finally has the same face in all the images. I'm mostly looking forward to a new base splash and Muse splash art. I'm hoping for Arcade and Silent Night, they're remade as a group splash with the respective lines (or at least Arcade is).

Generally as they currently art, Sona's splashes are not the worst offenders on the list of splashes, they are just relatively boring and don't really show much of Sona's personality. They're mostly just her posing delicately with her chest out and a soft smile.

MissFortune

I personally think Cowgirl is an ugly splash art. Waterloo is lovely, but it doesn't match the art style (though I hope they keep the Raphael painting in the background).

Garen

LOL, I hope they just give Garen a complete VU. Is he supposed to be youthful like in the cinematics? Is he supposed to be as gigantic as he base splash suggests (look at his awkward tiny head, lol)? IS HE SUPPOSED TO BE AS OLD AS HE LOOKS IN RUGGED, STEEL LEGION, AND ROGUE ADMIRAL?

They really just need to figure out what Garen looks like and how old he's supposed to be and stick with it, lol. His splashes are such a joke.

In my opinion:

Janna

I was never a fan of her updated base splash art, so I hope they redo that again and fix her face to match all her other splash arts. I also how they fix her ears in Forecast Janna for continuity.

While I love Hextech Janna, her splash is very dated and needs an update.

Lux

Sorceress needs an update for facial continuity (seems to be a reoccurring problem with these splash arts), and Commando and Imperial are just ugly.

Caitlyn

Resistance, Sheriff, and Officer Caitlyn all need an update. Perhaps Officer Caitlyn and Officer Vi could get a shared splash art.

Fiddlesticks

All of Fiddlestick's splashes (except his newest, Risen) are very dated and need updates. Sort of like Sona's splashes, they're boring and just show Fiddlesticks in one binary state, just with different appearances.

Orianna

The Gothic splash art is literally just Oriana against a dark purple background. That whole skin needs a rework, imo.
