So I was thinking, what if there was a lore event where the Darkin came back? This would affect all of Runeterra, and could also be a way for Riot to add new Darkin champions.
needs a rework/changes and 
also has been repeatedly said to be unhealthy, so any changes for them can be added during the event. I have a story I made for it, but before I put it on the boards I want to hear from you guys what you think about this in the comments.
I would love to see more darkins in the game.
Just two Darkins that I would definitely support, although they are a winged race, the color of their body and structure of their wings and horns should be different in order to distinguish them.
I think the elder was actually killed by a Darkin who performed a wind technique of his own to prove he is far superior. He may showed up during Noxian Invasion, that he actually wanted to meet Yasuo himself, but Yasuo did abandon his post to help the frontline instead.
This Darkin would be known as "Velox, the Darkin Wind", and the color of him is different from Aatrox and the other darkins. While Aatrox name comes from "atrox", which means in Latin, "savage" "fierce" "atrocious", Velox comes from the word "velox" which means in Latin "quick" "swift" "rapid", representing his combat style as an assassin.
There could also be another Darkin that showed up at Mount Targon when he fought along with Solari and Rakkor tribe with solar power as Leona, which also led destruction of Lunari. They worshiped this Darkin as a deity rather than a hero, and Rakkor tribe was inspired by his art of war.
This Darkin would be known as "Ferox, the Darkin Sun" and the color of him would be dark blue which shares a motif from Mayan/Aztec Eagle warrior and Greek Myrmidons, as the blue bodypaint is used for sacrifice in Mayan, representing Buluc, the god of war, violence and sacrifice. (you could say he both look and act like Kotal Kahn). Ferox comes from the word "ferox" which means in Latin "wild" "defiant" "dauntless" representing his combat style as a fighting support tank.
"Aatrox, the Darkin Blade" is the rival of Tryndamere. "Velox, the Darkin Wind" is the rival of Yasuo and possibly Riven as well. **"Ferox, the Darkin Sun" **is the rival for both Leona and Pantheon.
What if they were never gone? DUN DUN DUUUUN
We don't have alot of information on the Darkin. So an event can't happened based on them. But A new Darkin could bring new lore about what they are and who they were/

Making a darkin event would be kinda weird,considering that there is only one darkin in the game and even lorewise the darkins don't work together(it was said that out of the 5 remaining darkin,2 are hidden and not even the other darkins know about them) A return of the darkin as a race would come off as incredibly cheap,as it would throw away pretty much the only thing that we know about the darkin(that there are only 4 others left),I mean sure retcons are nothing new,but the darkins were already established within the new canon and there was pretty much nothing else about them.
Its of course not impossible for a darkin to be part of an event,but in that case I doubt that the event is about the darkins as a whole and more about their effect on the world(like what if the freljord event was about how tryndameres tribe getting killed?). If anything an event centered around the darkins would most likely only happen once we get the 5th darkin.
There was a 4chan post at the beginning of the year, claiming the next Darkin would be released sometime near the end of 2015.
Normally I'd ignore that stuff, but the guy who leaked it has done that before, often with pretty accurate info, and he also called the Bilgewater event, GP rework, and some other stuff that has already happened. If he's correct, I also have to add he said we'll have championship rumble and victorious ashe.
yes please tryndamere is the unhealtiest champion in the game and aatrox is the weakest with no potential to be great

Remember, there is still that "Ratuul" Darkin leak. But I don't know if it will prove to be true. I know at least some details of Tahm Kench were leaked for example.
What about return of the Brackern?
I think Riot just havent enough time to do another event , Winter is coming .... (If u know what i'm saying :) ) They already have to do an event about this theme. So probably only in spring after URF ( if it will come back 
) But it's still good idea. 
need rework too , he just can't stand vs tanks like nautilus or assasins like shaco
Here's my two big ideas on what Darkin are:
Darkin as Weapons and Demonblade Tryndamere are consistent with my idea and so like Captain Gangplank and Captain Miss Fortune, their skins become consistent with lore. Darkin as Ancient beings stems a whole story of a power struggle and reveals the mystery of Darkin ... but in narrative they are still a mystery. Unfortunately, story ideas are never considered - do not do them.
I hope Darkin become LoL's kind of signature characters because they're so unique and so intriguing, and the mystery of them brings us in even more!
