What's up with the weird icons?

Magicfire124816··1 votes·1,513 views

I was looking at the page with all the champions on them and I noticed that some of the champions have animated icons (Garen, Sona, Vi, and Zed). When you click on them there's a brief eerie animation... just wondered if anyone else saw it and if you know what it's all about O_o

btw if you have no idea what I'm talking about: http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/)

it was from the release of jhin, he had targeted 4 champs and they had a sort of mini event around it.

The real question is. Why are they still there?
