What are your thoughts of their lore after the Shurima event? Personally i disliked they removed their alien nature to become just "ascended heroes" of Shurima I thinkk they took ascencion very central to the plot, eith nearly everything revolving around this ancient and rare ritual

I like that they tied them to Shurima, I disliked them being some otherworldly champions. Personally, I am hoping that they will do the same with Morgana and Kayle when they do a rework of them.

My only disappointment is that, even if he is suppossed to be a guardian, Nasus wasn't even close to the tomb to prevent xerath released. It's not like he only have one job to protect the sacrifice of his brother >-<

I agree with Flemman! During the Shurima event, Nasus is the one telling the story, and tells it as a first hand experience, but he never interacts in the story besides locking up Xerath and Renekton eons ago. What was he doing prior to the adventuring party entering the ruins of Shurima? Was he aware of Azir's offspring and more notably the key that she wields as a weapon? How did she even obtain the key to one of the most dangerous beings in existence on Runterra?

Food for thought KogMaw

The brothers are a great fit for Shurima and I dig the style of animal headed Egyptian gods being the ascended. (though I'm disappointed that they failed to complete a VU on Xerath in preparation for this when they reworked him mechanically to make his sarcophagus look Shuriman in origin)

Teleported from some mystery planet where maybe everyone is humanoid with animal heads was always lame, here's to Anivia, Kayle, Morg, and all the other weird teleportation woopsies becoming natives with roots and purpose!
