Is there a difference between project and program skins

Program Camille

Just curious because in Project Yi's art MasterYi he is killing robots and in Program Camille's Camille she seems to be running away from Alien Vel'Koz's Velkoz Both also have the common PROJECT rain theme. Are they in the same world?

Program is software, project seems to be hardware.

The 2 skinlines are indeed connected,at least according to Riotkindlejack(not sure if that makes it canon or just kindlejacks personal headcanon) that Program and Project are in the same universe and are in fact enemy skinlines(with Lissandra as the leader of the programs and Ashe as the leader of the projects).

The difference lies in their visuals(Program uses a lot of white and has a somewhat alien and "clean" style,while project uses darker colors together with neon-colors and look more human compared to the programs) and origins(programs are robots who secretly rule over a city,while projects are humans that were turned into cyborgs in an attempt to turn them into weapons)

The PROJECT 2017 skins have voice lines towards Program skins, definitely in the same universe.

short answer: no they are not in same universe.

Project are half human/half cyborg(robots) entities fighting for remaining humanity while program are just 100% robots with AI going haywire and capturing the city from their creators.

I feel the program skin line will be discontinued, it doesn't seem to sell as well as project and battlecast
