Some ideas for Yorick's pending update

Now that the shadow isles crew have solid stories in place, I feel like Yorick is left out big time. Simply being a Gravedigger during his life doesn't explain why he can summon up ghouls at will, or why he can turn his ally into a ghost. My idea would be to remake him into the "Ruined King", killing 2 birds with 1 stone. We finally get to see who this guy is and what his story is; and yorick rises from being forever alone guy to the King of the Shadow Isles; a promotion I feel like he deserves.

Personally I feel like Yorick makes the best candidate for the King of the Shadow Isles because unlike Morde or Karthus, he can benefit from his own teamates dying and also because he has multiple ghoul summons, which plays into the story of the black mist filled with ghosts. He could be the last of a line of monarchs, who cursed his own kingdom to chaos and undeath; and thus created the Shadow Isles and not just a lonely gravedigger who never married.
