Why didn't Gangplank kill Miss Fortune?

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't she a well known pirate hunter?

Se probably killed alot of GP's crew over her 15 years of hunting him and her time as an infamous hunter. It just begs the question that GP would send his best men, to stop TF and Graves from rampaging but do nothing to the person who's been causing him pain for nearly a decade. That seems to be a massive loop hole in this story.

Also, who's in control of Bligewater? there is a bounty board and what pop culture might have you believe bounty hunters are people of the law. Who is the one making the laws of Bligewater?

seems to be some pretty big plot holes that need filling and not going to lie, I think Riot wrote themselves into a corner yet again. This just doesn't make any sense on how GP died and kind of sucked a bit of faith (atleast from me) in Riot's future updates of the lore.

This is the first real lore update for the game (not dissing the Shurima but it didn't really update just retold) and a bit flawed.

One last thing, how did Miss Fortune rebuild her mother's pistols? Did her mother just make great designs on guns or did she make complicated master pieces of weapons? I thought it was the latter with how it was described but yet MF manged to rebuild them, so are they just good looking guns or are they something else?

MF is a Bounty Hunter, not a Pirate Hunter. And she is based in Bilgewater herself.

The way I understood it, she brings in Bounties for Bilgewater. So in a fashion she is actually working for the pirates some of the time, probably even for Gangplank.

Gangplank actually didn't have much animossity against MF beyond her being another infamous Captain. MF made it a point not to openly confront Gangplank. He never even knew that she was that little girl that he shot along with her family 15 years ago.

Miss Fortune's new bio refers to her as "One of Bilgewater's most infamous bounty hunters," implying there are others of similar fame or infamy, tells us that she ran an operation that would have been dwarfed by Gangplank's influence - "a small but loyal cadre of allies and lovers" - and ultimately puts forward the idea that her larger-than-life persona was a smokescreen meant to make her seem less of a serious threat.

Certainly she would have been on Gangplank's radar, they even banded together to fight off the incursion from the Black Mist, but that doesn't mean that he would perceive her as a genuine threat to himself or even had much reason to care about her unless she was becoming too much of a thorn in his side. Given what we've been told about Sarah in her new bio, I'm quite sure Miss Fortune would have been very careful to avoid getting too heavily on GP's bad side before the time was right.

Im pretty sure that she didnt hunt the pirates that served GP, that is why he forgot about her.

At the moment of execution he was distracted with a thought. Out of spite of MF's mother he broke the weapons she deemed were 'too good for him' and then left MF for dead forgetting about her. MF grew to be a bounty hunter incognito among all other bounty hunters. Gangplank no time to route through them all, I guess.

There's probably more psychology to it. In act one he does not kill the boy and taught the boy a lesson probably much like himself may have been. Bilgewater is a harsh place.

Miss Fortune never registered as a threat to Gangplank. Sure she was a bounty hunter and he had a bounty, but Gangplank never realized that Miss Fortune was the same girl who had her mother and father die to his blade. He never knew her ultimate goal of vengeance and thus never realized how dangerous she was.

In her lore, he killed her parents and wounded her, hoping to leave her out for dead. But she made a comeback and used Miss Fortune as her name to stay out of his radar. She wanted to become powerful then kill him.

Given all the other threats in Bilgewater and her cultivated image as a relatively harmless large-chested airhead, he probably had a lot more to worry about.

Miss fortune learned from her mother how to make guns. I guess MF was present when her mom designed those guns and she remembered the way they were done(probably took her quite some time until she managed to replicate them though)

In the new lore she's just a mere Bounty hunter, and she probably takes lots of bounties, pirates or not, so as to not raise Gangplank's suspicions. We know she kept a close (small) band of allies (and tools, as I'm sure she thought of most of them) so as to keep under Gangplank's radar.

I think it's also important to note that Gangplank clearly thought very highly of himself and his power and probably saw other powers in Bilgewater as very little threat to his enormous influence.

It's possible that he had been keeping tabs on Miss Fortune, but it is also possible that she was concealing her true intent enough that he didn't quite understand what she was capable of. We know from her first entry in the Burning Tides arc that her public persona is VERY different from her "I'm going to murder gangplank and everyone who follows him" persona. This public persona is very likely what he understood her to be, after all, she's just a pretty lady bounty hunter who is all charm and no bite, right?

And as for the guns, I'm sure Miss Fortune had good understanding of how the guns worked. She's spent her entire life helping her mother make them. Maybe the first time she fixed them it wasn't great, but I'm sure it's a talent she could develop in her own right.

Because she was the second most powerful person in Bilgewater. Much less influential than Gangplank by a long shot, but she was no pushover. As vicious as Gangplank was, it was stated that he likes keeping things very organized and stable, he saw no reason to go to war with Miss Fortune, it would have just created a mess that wasn't worth cleaning up in the end. He was reasonable and intelligent, he wasn't about to wage total war unprovoked.

He left her for dead. This was before Miss Fortune started a campaign against Gangplank. She was just a child at the time.
