How old are Yordles?

I would imagine the yordle champions are all adults, at least as far as yordles go, but do they age differently? Do they live shorter or longer lives than humans? The humans tend to treat them like children, but that's mostly because of their shortness and general adorable nature. I'd imagine this has been brought up in the character or story department before, but I think it would be nice for the players to know.

Oh. Great job on Poppy, btw! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

I believe that Yordles have a slightly shorter lifespan than humans, not much, but noticeable, perhaps a few years less, decade at most. Champion ages have been left vague, something I suspect is intentional to promote greater speculation on behalf of the players.

In so far as I am concerned, the Yordles all seem to be young adult to old with Gnar being the only exception.

Veigar: Somewhere between young adult and middle-aged - 18 or 30, it is difficult to say; he was considered old enough for long-term employment with traveling merchants, so I suspect he was of working age and capable of living independent of his immediate family, if he had any. His lack of physical features and insanity make pinpointing age difficult.

Teemo: Adult to middle-aged - possibly 25 and up. Teemo is a veteran, a scout more specifically, and I doubt his status is easy to come by in someone of a younger generation. Sure, he sounds young, but I doubt anyone would last long in his position without substantial experience.

Rumble: Young adult to adult - between 20 and 30. Rumble is an accomplished mechanic who has built a fairly impressive machine from what amounts to junkyard scrap. However, he is rather hot-headed, overconfident, and more than a little insecure, hallmarks of youth if I have ever seen any.

Heimerdinger: Middle-aged to old; perhaps the rough equivalent to 40-60 years. The Revered Inventor, Heimerdinger has attained notoriety among not just Bandle City, but Piltover as well. His thick fur and large mustache advertise his obvious maturity, not to mention a wicked hairstyle.

Tristana: Young adult; definitely at a point between 18 and 25 years of age. Gung-ho, flippant, and utterly indomitable attitude practically scream "I AM YOUNG AND HAVING THE TIME OF MY LIFE". For her line of work, a gunner, she seems disturbingly upbeat, which can only lead me to suspect she lacks the same battlefield experience Teemo has acquired.

I would post more, but it is dinnertime and I am hungry. Just my headcanon - don't touch, it may explode.

Maybe if we get a Yordle lore update we'll know. I hope it's after Targon.

Gnar is not an adult. He is 4 years old according to Riot (without counting the time that he got frozen)

I'd go the other way, and say they live longer than people. Like the Halflings of D&D, who average 150 years.

I would assume that despite Lulu being one of the oldest of the yordles because of her time in the glade I bet she is the youngest in terms of like normal time. (Kind of hard to explain.) She basically didn't age in the glade and when she left it was noted that she played with children a lot.

Going off of raw biology and looking at real world examples, Yordles probably live much shorter lives than humans. Given their size and them being humanoids I'd put them to having about half the average lifespan of a human, give or take a decade or so.

Lulu is around 300 years old but she grew on another dimension so she is not the rule

Its hard to tell the age cuz none of them go through puberty.

I believe that yordles live longer lives. They once were normal humans but over time their bodies and nature changed. No one can place age on the yordles because of their strange nature and size, however because of their size I would like to assume that they age slower. Possibly a yordle of 500 years could be a giant. For some reason we don't know almost anything from the old yordle cities. Perhaps their could have been a civil war that drove them to the brink of extinction and that's why we have no knowledge of the old cities.

I feel I must bring up a simple fact that will help this whole conversation. Poppy was a mature yordle, and was present for the very founding of demacia which is now on its 4'th king, I don't know exact numbers about the founding but to be present for a kingdoms founding that has lived through 4 different kings makes me think that poppy has lived at least a couple hundred years maybe longer because she did travel for quite a while before coming across Orlons original caravan that was to be demacia's first people.
