Hello everybody! First of all, this is not a post about general state of lore, doesn't have anything to do with it. Well, after considering this, let's talk a bit about the champions skills in a lore-wise view. How? Well, i've been curious for quiet sometime about how should we read some champions abilities while considering the lore of the champion itself; for example, let's just think about Nasus, we know his Q grows stronger everytime it delivers the killing blow on an enemy unit (aka Lasthitting), but have you ever wondered how this ability works for the Nasus character? What i mean is, what does make his hit grow stronger with each "victim" death? Is it soul harvesting? Life essence steal? Weird "Guardian of life and death cicle" stuff? What about Akali? How does she create an invisibility zone? Smoke bombs just like real life ninjas? Feel free to add any other idea to the discussion, which champions have you always wondered have abilites you didn't understand in the lore view?

Lemme see... I'll start with Twisted Fate and Graves:

TwistedFate His abilities stem from his lore, that gives him magic powers. The only one that is a bit strange is the fact that his E passive makes him faster...maybe due to becoming more adjusted to his magic? His ultimate is stated outright in the lore, so that's legit 100%. Only thing that's a bit of strange is his ability in general to throw cards for the damages, but I'll let it slide.

Graves Only 2 of his abilities (passive True Grit, and E ability Quickdraw) are based on his actual physical abilities, and one was possibly referenced to in the last CG movie (took a fatal shot from Nautilus, but was alive long enough to take Nautilus down with him with his ult(?) I assume his weapon has multiple chambers/shells that allows for his multi-shell buckshot, smoke screen, and huge bullet ult.

Mind you, his lore only mentions how he acquired his shotgun, but not too much of what it does. Quickdraw could be like Draven's adrenaline rush, which explains the increased attack speed after the dash.

Akali: Her W is an actual smoke bomb. Talon: When he ults, he spins to toss a smoke bomb. He then throws a bunch of heavy, boomerang knives from his cloak. These daggers spin around into the air. MissFortune: Her passive is really about her concentration when she moves around in heels. Katarina: Magic imbued knives and swords, runic in nature. Aatrox: He bleeds heavily when using Q and E to feed his blade and empower his combat ability.

Nasus I have no idea. Not a clue. probably something about being an Ascended.

Akali on the other hand has been hinted having past dealings with Zed though...
