The story of a Darius main

I see a New Darius skin being released... I'm immediately consumed by pure ecstasy as I gaze upon the Darius skin that I have only previously dreamed of in my finest of nights.

I gaze upon my pristine collection of all of the Darius skins and my 160,000 Champion with mastery lv 7 and smile; "today......will be a good day". I take pride in my Darius skills and I uphold the values and virtues of Noxus in my games he is with me. I make would make Darius proud as I value strength, in all its forms.

I gleefully hop on the surrender at 20 PBE page and wonder how much it will cost me; It doesn’t matter…. I'm prepared to put down some serious bucko bucks in order to obtain one of Riot's art department's greatest masterpieces. My wallet and I.....are ready. I am prepared to patiently wait for 2 weeks as if the skin was a long lost lover that I will be soon be united with.

Then I see it, Dreadnova Darius – 10 Gemstones. ......What? Gemstones… is that a mistake? It…It must be. A panic slowly builds over me, no..no..no..no..no. My mind flashes back to the endless amount of YouTube videos titled “After 500 chests Soulstealer Vayne” when she was just released. 10…..gemstones. My heart plummets as I realize that the highest chance of getting the skin is to spend over 500$ and hope that I get enough gemstones to unlock it. I was willing to pay a hefty sum but… my budget would be impossible to maintain a $500 purchase that might not even come into fruition. I cannot afford a purchase of that scale, not now, not ever. I look at Darius, he grimaces back in acknowledgement. Not even he can dismiss the dismal and disparaging situation I am currently mired in. I wispier back “I’m sorry”.

I have recounted my plight in hopes some benevolent Rioter who watches these posts with an eagle eye will look down at a poor Darius main and take pity. I am willing to do anything for Darius and will continue to try and get chests in order to obtain the skin he so justly deserves. Perhaps in a year or two, if I’m still here, I will eventually obtain the amount got emstones necessary to unlock the skin. I’m the mean time, I will continue on with the hand of Noxus. And, perhaps, lady luck will find favor of me.
