So here's Tristana & Jinx, for example https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/2/29/Tristana_OriginalSkin.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20170615231509 https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/2/21/Jinx_OriginalSkin.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20170616000626 It's not because of how close we are to their face. I guess yordles just have bigger heads. The yordles even have better face animations than most characters.

Lol this was pointless idk what I've done xd

I'm no artist, but have you read about the number-of-heads method of proportions with regards drawing figures? The book "Figure Drawing for all it's Worth" by Andrew Loomis goes into this with great diagrams, but basically - you can measure a figure's height in terms of how many heads tall they are.

Generally realistic humans are around 7 heads high. Fashion illustrations might be 8 or 8.5 heads high. 'Heroic' and statue-like figures might be 9 heads high. But the other end of the scale is also important - babies and toddlers are around 4 heads high, and we associate that with cuteness.

So for proportions, a big head on a small body reminds us of the cuteness of youth (like kittens, puppies, and babies - all big heads small bodies), whereas ratios of 8 or above are seen as heroic!

He's so statuesque! ;)

Ofc. in-game models are even more skewed because they are built to look best from the high camera angle, which means their head (closest to the camera) is even smaller, and the feet are made bigger (far from the camera). Classic pizza feet!
