TRIFARIAN LEGION Heavy armoured, iron-willed and a diverse blend of warriors that specialize in different forms of warfare and combat making them unpredictable and adaptive

Though I’m sure both armies have encountered each other on smaller battles and skirmishes I’d wonder how the battle would play out and which army would have the greater advantage If they were to meet in full force on an even battlefield led by their equally legendary commanders:

Vanguard is significantly stronger as they have more named characters. Even if we didn't see them in the actual game, they are worth 20 people each.

Well unless Draven joins the Legion. Then they win, as a Champion is worth 500 soldiers or something like that.

Those are like the basic anime rules.

If equally matched, with one member of each against the others, the Dauntless Vanguard would win. It's been stated on multiple occasions that Demacia's army is lacking in warriors but elite in skill; they best most other more numerous foes.

If every member of the Dauntless Vanguard fought every member of the Trifarian Legion... it'd be a close fight, and it's hard to say who would win.

That would be an excellent short story.

I hope we get big clashes like this in the lore soon. League of Legends is desperately missing some epic storytelling right now, but I think the lore team is headed in that direction.
