Could Syndra's Crown be Darkin too?
Just being curious, i don't know much about the lore, but after she escaped from the mage, we don't know much about her. Maybe she doesn't know, crown is taking her over?

The fandom currently is throwing dices by trying to predict who could be a darkin as well. It's kinda amusing. Sona's etwahl at least makes kinda sense since it has a mind of his, if you have read her old League Judgment.
Syndra was born with this magic and had it since childhool. Nevertheless her crown isn't really a crown but a reverse Mantle of Decorum, Ionia's highest decoration. It's not a weapon and not that rare, since Karma and Irelia have one as well.
I hope not.
Both for her character and that Ionia has enough Darkin.

Syndra is a mage who had her unlimited power sealed away by her masters because they feared she'd abuse it. She's got nothing related to the Darkin anywhere in her lore. She's just royally pissed because her masters kept her power away from her.
