Just make PROJECT:Summoner's Rift, then PROJECT: Every Champion and turn this game from fantasy to i don't even know what its called.

DemoGuide2 votesThere is also Battlecast series. While riot positions these skins as different, i still think they are same bullshit and don't have place in fantasy game. At least not that much. I prefer to burn people with fire, not with laser beams.
GreenLore1 votesThey are all science fiction and while LoL is a fantasy game,it does have it sci-fi elements(like viktor,jayce and so on).
Not to mention that skins don't have to be in line with the main game. I mean there are tons of silly skins or skins with a more modern theme,project,mecha and battlecast are far from the only ones.

I mean, right now in game we have too much skins on a "year" basis. Each year they have to make these skins:
These skins pool will grow every year. In other days i expect Riot to make something creative and new to league. But instead, they are expanding Project pool, and I afraid they wont stop there.

I mean we got for example the program skin line and the gothic-horror(the one for noc,singed and kayle)-line this year.
Also while there are yearly events like that(you forgot snowday by the way and lunar revel is the new year),its not like all of these yearly skins have only one skin line. I mean radiant wukong and the lunar wraith skins are quite different from any other new years skin and the april fools skins rarley have any recurring theme.
Not to mention that pool party isn't necessarily yearly, as we didn't get any pool party skins in 2014. If they continue to bring them yearly,then only because of fan demand.

Project is future tech. Similar to Mecha. I hate anything close to Mecha. I understand League has sci-fi elements, but it doesn't make me like mecha any more/less.

I like it, I own two of them and I only play Yasuo, infrequently mind you. I'm not some stupid kid that wastes money whenever a cool shiny thing appears, it's a pretty interesting skin series and I love the whole cyberpunk/tron feel it gives off. That's a sub-theme of fantasy, by the way.

People also like Cosmic Reaver, a lot. May be even more popular than Project. But they don't continue to do it as much as Project. :(

Until 5 skins patch at the same time, there was only Project Yasuo and for many people, High Noon was better. It is just the number of skins. Cosmic Reaver Kassadin got better reaction than Project Yasuo.

Fondling Gems1 votesI used mecha with the consideration that many champions are built large enough that from a visual standpoint they would look like mechas. My main point coming from mecha malphite which is an evangelion themed skin and I am sure that the project version would look very similar. From a technical standpoint I definitely agree that it is sci-fi themed but from a visual standpoint I believe there would be many mecha elements without the context of the original characters.

Pentakill0072 votesi know what you mean man...the project skins are so lame, i own over 100+ champs and own about 65 skins, and i have not bought a single project skin, they are lame. and the upcoming project ashe is a major dissapointment because i own all of ashes other skins and will not be adding this to my collection. 1850 rp for a stupid looking skin aint worth the trouble. now DJ sona, was a great skin, and pulsefire ez. but projects? nah. riot should burn all there project ideas. def not a good skin line.
