What role do you think she will be???? We havnt had a real adc in a while, and she seems pretty good with that sling, but she seems to have more power in her like stone abilities.

We already know she is a stone mage, as it says right in the story, so she won't be an ADC.

Kind, she could be like a hybrid of some sort, lol no one really knows except riot. All we can really do is speculate, what if riot games made it like a tank ranged jungle or somthing. One thing for sure though she does have a knock-up

But as ALL of her abilities scale off of ad only. They are a adc. The definition of a adc in fact. Intended position does not affect their ability to carry the game with their attack damage. And as a marksman, they do most of their damage through their auto attacks. You do not need to be viable bot lane in order to be an adc or marksman. Just look at Urgot .

Yes but in that case anyone that uses attack damage could be an adc. In my opinion Jhin and Kindred do not count as new adc's becuase Kindreds kit isn't the typical marksmens. And as for Jhin he does act as an adc but his lack of mobility and attack speed make him more of a Ad mid laner. And the definition of ADC is Attack Damage CARRY hence why not all marksmen or ad champs are refered to as such.

We haven't had a support in a while, so that's what my guess is going to be.

Unless Taric takes that spot in Riot's order of roles.

ADC means; Attack Damage Carry

So in other words, champions who are based around the attack damage stat and are supposed to be built squishy, with the possibility of some tankyness. So Jhin and Kindred are real adcs. Especially Jhin , as he can get the most ad out of any one. And marksmen do damage mostly based on their auto attacks, which both Jhin and Kindred do aswell.

As for the sling, Talaya seems to have stopped using it after she had the earth swallow that tiger/leopard whole and started embracing her powers.

She is Shuriman. And concerned with Azir enslaving her family and people. So maybe a nod to the pharaohs enslaving the Jews, but I somehow doubt that. The name was likely picked for its foreign feel.

i think she will be a support if they want to respect the rotation of roles (thamh Supp - Kindred Jung - Illaoi Top - Jhin Adc - Aurelion Mid - Talyah Supp ???) but instead of a rotation.... the existence of what has to be proved from the new champions that have to come, i can see her as a Mid Laner or a tanky top mage

She will probably be tanky top mage, I mean taric just came out and so did ao shin so that's mid and supp gone

If you check the news, it says that Taliyah is a "stone mage". this could mean she can either be a mid-laner or a support. The sling might be like her "magic source" just like ziggs throws bombs and not real magic and same goes for kennen, he throws those ninja things but you can still play him as mid-laner or adc. If you ask me, Taliyah might not be an adc because before aurelion sol, we got jhin. But we can't confirm if she's a mid either because of Aurelion sol. So she might a support since the last one we saw was Tahm Kench which was during the Bilgewater event. So she might be a mid-support like Zyra. Anyways i cant be to sure but this seems like the strongest explanation i can give Hope it helps you guys think more about her role [slayer-jinx-wink]
