Seriously. She takes care of endangered wildlife, restores priceless artefacts lost to history and selflessly gives them away to modern museums, fights for freedom of religious belief, and even removes callous, manipulative, ambitious nobles from power before they can enact their wicked schemes and oppress minorities.

Thresh is a hero. Seriously. He houses thousands of lost souls and is constantly taking rigorous care of them. Everything else he does can be excused because of that.

Volibear is a hero. Seriously. The guy helped a starving village with dying children to get food and let thousands of spirit-walkers get protection against the cold, hunters and all the other dangers in Freljord and even some aditional limbs sometimes. He (was in the process) of getting rid of a corrupt institution that pretty much solely exploited the lower class. And was in a cycle of political instability followed by brutal and ever more aggressive murder sprees.
By that measure he’s a hero.
He also gained the wealth and prestige to do that by purposely committed genocide in Gaul, twice.
By that measure he’s a villain.
Right now we’re watching Swain doing things that can be seen as positive. But we haven’t yet got a good look at how he did it.
Evelynn is a hero Seriously. She loves to surround herself with happy people that make her feel better and not only that but she is a really charming person. Very charismatic. She always gets what she wants, she's a feminist icon. That's all I had to say, thank you.

Swain is as much a hero as Dr. Doom.
By that I mean the god of the Marvel universe personally went to Dr. Doom and told him that in every possible future the Marvel multiverse will be destroyed, all except for one, the time line in which Dr. Doom rules the universe. So Doom made it his life's goal to save the multiverse, after he rescues his mother's soul from hell, which he also did.
In the latest Secret Wars event Doom did successfully take over the Marvel multiverse, then after saving the universe he eventually surrendered to the one Reed Richard he accidentally left alive, and then Doom retired and is now just running Latveria as a post labor communist utopia... Who occasionally helps out Sqiurrel Girl.
Xerath is a hero Seriously. The guy got rid of a corrupt regime that was using slavery and military power enacted by ascended human-animal hybrids to push other nations into submissions. Everything else he does can be excused because of that. That's all i had to say, thank you.
As a rule, the best villains in all of media (and real life), are the ones who don't realize they're villains. If your villain is an evil guy with horns who wants to destroy the world, then you can look at him and go "Pffft, no one would ever do that.". If your villain does evil things because it could be considered the best option at the time, that's when we start to get uncomfortable, because then, we might do the same in their place.

I can actually agree to this from a certain point of view. Swain is that kind of anti-hero who has the good of the world in his view and will not stop at anything to achieve it. And between us, I think he is acting all evily on purpose. He already is fairly convinced that nobody would heed his words due to his noxian origin, so he doesn't even try. He just does his thing and whoever didn't listen is ded.
From my point of view, Swain is a chaotic good.

Urgot's a hero.
He is getting rid of the corrupt system of chembarons in Zaun, which are trading with weapons, drugs, and Janna knows what else in this city. Chembarons own the mines in which many people either lose their lives or start to become ill. Everything else Urgot does can be excused because of that.
Dude, this kind of argumentation doesn't work. Swain is the lesser of two evils, but that doesn't make him a hero.
He got rid of a corrupt system that used child soldiers and chemical warfare, however that doesn't mean that Swain wouldn't use child soldiers or chemical warfare himself. And if he doesn't use it, then he doesn't do it because he thinks its morally wrong, but because it's just not practical.
Isnt Swain also trying to prevent a coming darkness too?

The guy saved Valmar from dying and fused Valmar and Kai with jimself so they can be together forever without totally losing control of their budy and are in vast pain of continuously jever ending cycle of pain.
