Why is Bloodstone Taric's splash art reversed?

http://i.imgur.com/nqC8w9L.png Why is Bloodstone Taric's splash art reversed? He is still casting with his right hand, which lights up, and he still wields the mace with his left hand in-game, so why flip the splash? I know that Riot often does this to make fewer of the splash arts face right, but doing so when it creates a false representation of the champion is not a good decision when it comes to clarity.

"With clarity!", said the old Taric. Honour him!

I'm more concerned about his color, it should be more blood red http://oi66.tinypic.com/34yphuc.jpg http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/qTseQQe1-bloodstone-taric-is-too-pink?comment=0004 edit: changed the thread for a clearer topic.

Think about how this would look in the ingame client. On the left side they have all this stuff about the champion info(his general stats and skills),so if they flipped it,it would obscure his entire body...

A lot of splash arts are reversed. If you look at Order of the Lotus Karma splash, her shoulder pad is on the wrong side compared to her in-client.
